Hunting and Fishing

Hunting and fishing opportunities abound in this varied countryside.

The hills and valley’s of the region are cut though by multiple streams as well as by the East Fork of the White River. Lakes are scattered through Martin State Forest and West Boggs Lake is stocked with a variety of fish.  Check out the Fishing Report.

The abundance of vegetation and water provide the natural habitat that is a prerequisite for wildlife. Some information and links can be found here.

Hunting and Fishing at East Fork of the White River

There are several sites to put in along the White River. The Hindostan Falls area is a favorite fishing spot in the summer when you can walk out into the River bed on the rocky shelf above the falls.
